Description
This tee hits like a declaration. A weathered, battle-worn American flag fills the background of a shield-shaped crest, its stars and stripes faded like a relic of hard-fought history, while bold old-English lettering spells out WE THE PEOPLE front and center, the opening words of the Constitution worn like armor.
What it means: The Preamble’s final wording came from Gouverneur Morris of the Constitutional Convention’s Committee of Style in 1787. He opened with We the People of the United States, putting the source of power in the first line.
